Liner announced on the 7th that it has unveiled a series of 'research artificial intelligence (AI) agents' specialized in academic research, beginning its journey to realize 'Vibe Research.'
The agents unveiled this time consist of two types: 'hypothesis generation agent' and 'citation recommendation agent,' providing features to develop initial research ideas into refined hypotheses and to automatically identify sentences needing citations in draft papers, recommending appropriate academic materials. Liner plans to sequentially release various AI agents supporting the entire research process, including paper reviews, literature analysis, and surveys.
The hypothesis generation agent constructs feasible hypotheses by comparing and analyzing simple ideas with existing research, while the citation recommendation agent automatically suggests highly reliable academic materials based on citation appropriateness, helping researchers focus on essential tasks. The agents that will be unveiled next are focused on enhancing researchers' productivity through logical error checking, literature trend analysis, and survey simulations.

Meanwhile, Liner is currently operating a scholarship program for participants of the world's first AI author-centered academic event 'Agents4Science 2025,' and is participating in the 'Reader AI foundation model' project as a part of the SKT consortium.
