Netmarble announced on the 6th that it will showcase its new PC and mobile multi-platform game 'Mongil: STAR DIVE' at the global gaming event 'Gamescom 2025' in collaboration with Samsung Electronics.
'Mongil: STAR DIVE' is a sequel to 'Monster Taming' and will have its first demonstration at the Samsung Electronics booth in the B2C hall during 'Gamescom 2025', ahead of its release in the second half of the year. Attendees will be able to experience the game through Samsung Electronics' glasses-free 3D gaming monitor 'Odyssey 3D', launched in March.
'Odyssey 3D' is a monitor that provides a 3D gaming experience using eye tracking and view mapping technology without the need for additional 3D glasses. Netmarble and Samsung Electronics have created a demonstration environment optimized for 'Mongil: STAR DIVE,' enabling players to enjoy immersive cutscenes and combat action powered by Unreal Engine 5.
Additionally, 'Mongil: STAR DIVE' will participate in the experience event 'The World of #PlayGalaxy' hosted by Samsung Electronics at Dock2 in Cologne, Germany, from August 22 to 23. There will be a demonstration of the foldable smartphone 'Galaxy Z Fold7', which was revealed at 'Galaxy Unpacked 2025', featuring an 8.0-inch large screen and lightweight design to support gaming.
Visitors to the booth will receive merchandise for 'Mongil: STAR DIVE' such as the mascot 'Meow' keyring, and a shuttle bus will operate between the Cologne Messe exhibition center and the Dock2 event venue.
Meanwhile, 'Mongil: STAR DIVE', which is being developed by Netmarble Monster, is a sequel to the collectible RPG 'Monster Taming', released in 2013. It features ▲ high-quality production made with Unreal Engine 5 ▲ real-time tag play and combat action based on three-person parties ▲ and a 'monster collecting' system that captures, collects, and synthesizes monsters, aiming for release in the second half of this year.
