SK AX announced on the 5th that it has embarked on the 'Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX) Based Information Technology (IT) System Integration Maintenance Project' for SBI Savings Bank. Under this contract, SK AX will be responsible for maintaining the IT systems of SBI Savings Bank for three years, from this year until 2028.
The key aspect of this project is the application of generative AI and operational automation technology throughout the maintenance process. SK AX has incorporated the generative AI-based 'AI Meeting Minutes' developed by SK Telecom into the operational systems of SBI Savings Bank. This solution automatically organizes and shares the contents of meetings held frequently between clients, operators, partners, and vendors in the form of AI meeting minutes, improving efficiency in cumbersome and repetitive communications in operational management.
In the area of system failure response, SK AX supports SBI Savings Bank in establishing its own AI-based failure analysis system by utilizing generative AI operational technology that it has accumulated. This is expected to improve not only the speed of failure response but also the prevention of recurring issues.
It will also apply its proprietary application programming interface (API) test automation solution 'aTworks.' This solution automates API testing for data linkage between different systems, capable of testing up to 100,000 cases per hour, and also supports TCP/IP-based specialized message testing primarily used in the financial sector.
Kim Nam-sik, head of the financial business division at SK AX, noted, 'SK AX has established stability and reliability as an IT operations partner for numerous financial institutions, including national policy banks, securities companies, credit card companies, and insurance companies.' He continued, 'This project aims not just for basic maintenance but to assist SBI Savings Bank in achieving digital operational capabilities on par with comprehensive financial firms, while also promoting a work style and change management suitable for the AX era.'
