AhnLab invited Kim Hyun-sik, the head of the Sustainable People, Sustainable Company (SPSC) support center, to give a special lecture on 'human capital-centered ESG management' to employees on the 4th, the company announced on the 5th.
The special lecture highlighted the key role of employees as the main executors of ESG management, focusing on the conceptual differences between 'human resources' and 'human capital'. It also shared insights on what corporations should consider in establishing and implementing ESG strategies from the perspective of human capital by examining global ESG disclosure standards and the latest trends in academia.
Kim Gi-in, AhnLab's Chief Financial Officer, said, 'This special lecture was organized to emphasize that all members of AhnLab must play a central role in establishing and implementing ESG strategies under the recognition that employees are the key foundation for sustainable management.'
