Samsung Electronics announced on the 5th that it has launched the 2025 model of the 'Bespoke Dishwasher Countertop' with enhanced energy efficiency.
The Bespoke Dishwasher Countertop is a dishwasher that is placed on top of the sink, making installation or relocation simple and maximizing space utilization. It can wash dishes for six servings at once, suitable for households from one to four people.
The new product has an energy efficiency rating of grade 2, which is one level higher than existing products. It has the lowest power consumption among the domestic six-person dishwashers registered with the Korea Energy Agency (KEA).
Washing time is also the shortest among comparable dishwashers at 95 minutes, and water usage has been reduced by about 10% compared to existing products.
The upper and lower washing wings rotate to create a dual three-dimensional water flow that thoroughly washes both sides of the dishes, removing grease with high-temperature direct water and sanitizing dishes by 99.999%.
In the final rinsing stage, the hot air drying function thoroughly removes any remaining water droplets, and it also supports features such as baby bottle sterilization and automatic door opening.
Moon Jong-seung, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Digital Appliances Division, noted, 'The new product combines powerful washing and drying performance with enhanced energy efficiency, making it convenient and economical for households from one to four people' and added, 'We plan to continuously introduce various products to allow customers to choose the optimal product that fits their lifestyle.'
