Netmarble Foundation announced on the 5th that it will host the '2025 National Students with Disabilities e-Festival' at Sonokam Vivaldi Park in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, from September 9 to 10.
The 'National Students with Disabilities e-Festival' is jointly organized by Netmarble Foundation, the National Institute for Special Education, and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), with sponsorship from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The event has been held since 2009 to enhance the self-esteem and sense of achievement of students with disabilities through the functionality of games, improve their information literacy, and establish a healthy leisure culture.
This year, with the slogan 'Shining dream e! Brilliant tomorrow e!', approximately 1,600 participants, including students from special schools, teachers, and parents selected through regional preliminaries held since June, will compete in a total of 28 categories including esports and information contests in the finals.
In addition to the finals, various side events will be prepared. On the evening of the 9th, cultural events such as a magic show and dance performances will take place, along with on-site events that audience members can enjoy, including a mobile stamp tour, artificial intelligence (AI) character creation experience, a 360-degree photo booth, and virtual reality (VR) game experiences.
Meanwhile, disabled YouTuber Park Wi participated as a promotional ambassador for this year's '2025 National Students with Disabilities e-Festival.'
