SK Telecom announced on the 4th that it has launched the artificial intelligence (AI) 'adot 4.0' using 'agentic workflow' technology that plans and executes tasks based on user requests.
adot 4.0 can autonomously perform four core functions: ▲planning ▲utilizing external tools ▲multi-agent collaboration ▲results verification.
adot 4.0 is equipped with an 'agent orchestrator.' The company explained that adot 4.0 analyzes user requests, automatically assigns the most appropriate sub-agent, and executes each step sequentially.
In version 3.0, users had to manually select the desired functions, but now adot handles the entire process.
For example, if a user requests, 'Recommend a song that fits today's weather and play them all,' adot checks the weather information, performs music recommendations, and then provides a playlist of the recommended songs to the user for playback.
The scheduling management function has also been improved. Users can add, modify, and delete multiple schedules at once, and registered schedules are linked to Google Calendar or Outlook. The voice mode can recognize additional user questions in real time during responses and has been improved to handle multiple requests in a single utterance.
SK Telecom stated that adot has surpassed 10 million cumulative subscribers in just 22 months since its launch.
