AhnLab announced on the 3rd that it held the '2025 summer season future imagination coding camp' inviting over 80 children of employees from July 31 to August 2 at its Pangyo headquarters.
The future imagination coding camp is an SW coding education event for employees' children that AhnLab conducts every summer and winter vacation to create a family-friendly workplace. During this event, held in collaboration with Ace Code Lab, AhnLab conducted a variety of programs themed around 'climate environment,' including ▲age-specific customized SW coding education ▲team project execution and work presentation ▲headquarters tour and event zone operation ▲family lunch invitations.
This year's education is particularly characterized by its design to help employees' children develop problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills while contemplating environmental issues based on creativity and logical thinking. Additionally, experiential events such as making smart talk about endangered animals and creating recycled coin wallets were also organized to add fun.
Lee Jeong-kyu, the Head of Team of AhnLab's TGA development team, shared that his twin children, Lee Ji-ah and Si-ah, who participated in the coding camp, said, "It's great to learn about new and interesting technologies like the metaverse, artificial intelligence, generative artificial intelligence (AI), and autonomous vehicles at the coding camp every vacation," adding, "I'm looking forward to the next vacation even more after attending enjoyable coding classes with dad at work."
