SK Telecom announced on the 1st that it will officially launch the quantum encryption 5G smartphone 'Galaxy Quantum 6.' The Galaxy Quantum 6 is a product launched exclusively for SK Telecom in Korea, equipped with a Quantum Random Number Generation chip (QRNG) integrated into Samsung Electronics' Galaxy A56.
The Galaxy Quantum 6 features various AI functions, including Google's 'Circle to Search,' which displays search results simply by drawing a circle on the smartphone screen, and Google's multimodal AI 'Gemini Live.'
It also provides 'Best Face' and 'Auto Crop' features, which are the first AI-based photo and video editing assistance functions among the Galaxy A series launched in Korea.
The Galaxy Quantum 6 has become lighter at 198g compared to its predecessor (213g). Its thickness has also decreased from 8.2mm to 7.4mm, and it features a sturdy metal frame. It supports 45W fast charging, waterproof and dustproof capabilities, and Samsung Wallet.
The Galaxy Quantum 6 will be available in two colors: 'Awesome Light Gray' and 'Awesome Graphite.' The price remains the same as its predecessor at 618,200 won (including VAT).
