The global short-form video platform TikTok announced on the 31st that it has established a partnership for digital content collaboration in line with FC Barcelona's 2025 tour in Korea, and will conduct various content collaborations centered around TikTok Live.
Through its collaboration with TikTok, FC Barcelona plans to showcase the club's appeal with a focus on TikTok Live and short-form content. To this end, FC Barcelona selected 12 TikTok Live creators in advance to deliver gifts and create unboxing content featuring these gifts. Included among these gifts is the 'Barça Charity Bracelet,' a symbol of the club's charity campaign supporting children with serious illnesses, adding significance to the initiative. The club expects that the bracelet will be recognized by more fans through TikTok's reach and contribute to the positive impact of the campaign.
On the 30th, a special live event was held at the TikTok Korea office in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, featuring the FC Barcelona mascot 'CAT.' Attendees included club officials and creators Jinwoo and Haetti, who produced collaboration content with the mascot and conducted a live event on site.
On the 31st, TikTok creators will visit the stadium in person to convey the excitement live during the match against FC Seoul and the match against Daegu FC on August 4. Highlight videos capturing the match scene and creator activities will be released through the TikTok Korea and TikTok Live official accounts.
Additionally, from the 4th to the 10th of next month, a special event called the 'Star Collector' card collection campaign will be held for TikTok Live creators. By performing various activities such as broadcasting time, attendance checks, and mission content uploads with the hashtag '#FCBarcelonaTikTokLive,' participants will have the chance to be selected in order of arrival or as outstanding contributors to receive various rewards like FC Barcelona uniforms and merchandise.
