Samsung projects high bandwidth memory sales to exceed 90% in second half

Samsung Electronics announced during a conference call on the 31st that "sales of high bandwidth memory (HBM) increased by around 30% in terms of bits in the second quarter. The proportion of HBM3E in the total quantity of HBM has expanded to the high 80% range," adding, "We have considerably increased HBM3E sales compared to the first half of the year with the goal of normalizing our HBM business. We are steadily securing demand, along with the completion of mass production approvals for individual customers in phases. The sales share of HBM3E in the second half is expected to be in the high 90% range."
