ESTaid announced on the 29th that it will expand its 'artificial intelligence (AI) 1-second summary' service, which is currently being applied to its portal 'Zum', to all searches, marking the beginning of its full transition to an AI search portal system.
Now, when using the Zum search service, all users will receive support from an interactive search service that summarizes key information using AI. This is the first of its kind among domestic portals. The 'AI 1-second summary' of Zum, introduced in November last year, provides the ability to summarize core content not only for keyword-based searches but also for questions in the form of everyday sentences. After understanding the user's search intent in real-time, AI utilizes its self-developed search engine analysis and machine learning technology to provide summary results centered on key issues.
The advancement of this service was primarily driven by its parent company ESTsoft's 'Alan'. ESTaid enhanced the accuracy of summaries, response speed, and contextual understanding by integrating its search engine with the large language model (LLM) agent 'Alan', thereby securing independent technological competitiveness.
Starting with the full application of the 'AI 1-second summary', ESTaid plans to aggressively push forward an AI search transition project focused on AI experiences across its entire search service by the end of the year. The core aim is to innovate the user experience by integrating AI technology into key services such as shopping, travel, and finance, and to introduce new advertising models.
Through this, the goal is to improve both service user experience and revenue. Specifically, the plan is to introduce an 'AI native advertising' format that naturally blends with AI summary results, moving away from existing advertising methods. This aims to enhance user immersion in information exploration while minimizing the dissonance with advertisements.
