On the 28th, Samsung Electronics announced the release of its new all-in-one washing and drying machine, 'Infinite AI Combo.'
The Infinite AI Combo employs a method that emphasizes the texture of stainless steel material and has enhanced durability. It also features a 'hidden door' that opens with just a touch, resulting in a design without protruding parts.
The product's depth has been reduced by 10㎜ compared to the existing washing and drying machine, 'Bespoke AI Combo,' allowing for installation in even more diverse spaces.
It plans to incorporate all the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology introduced in the Bespoke AI Combo, providing customized convenience for users.
First, it is equipped with a 7-inch 'AI Home Touchscreen' that allows users to see various courses and functions at a glance and easily operate them with a touch.
It can control various other devices connected to SmartThings, such as bulbs and switches, without a separate hub, and voice control is available through the AI voice assistant 'Bixby.'
Additionally, it supports functions such as 'AI Customized+' which detects the weight, type, and pollution level of laundry for customized care, as well as the 'AI Saving Mode' in the SmartThings app that saves up to 60% on washing and 30% on drying energy.
Moreover, it features 'AI Automatic Detergent Dispenser' that learns the pollution level of the laundry and automatically dispenses detergent and fabric softener according to the weight and pollution level.
The washing and drying capacity of the new product is 25㎏ and 18㎏, respectively, with the detergent compartment size increased by more than 400ml compared to the Bespoke AI Combo, allowing users to use the detergent for up to 17 weeks with a single fill.
In addition, it achieves the top energy consumption efficiency rating, enabling it to benefit from the 'Top-Efficiency Home Appliance Reimbursement Project' implemented by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
