LG Electronics collaborates with the U.S. premium electric bike brand "Super73" to unveil a one-of-a-kind electric bike product featuring LG Electronics' lifestyle audio brand "Xboom."
According to LG Electronics on the 25th, the "Super73 LG Xboom Edition" equipped with Xboom will be available from today until August 10 at the pop-up zone on the fifth floor of "The Hyundai Seoul" located in Yeouido, Seoul. Visitors will also be able to see a video of BMX national representatives and motorcycle athletes riding the product while speeding off-road with exciting music.
Since December last year, LG Electronics has been collaborating with global musician will.i.am to redefine the sound and design identity of the Xboom brand's portable and wearable audio products. Through this collaboration, LG Electronics is expanding Xboom from a wireless speaker brand to a lifestyle audio brand optimized for customers' lives.
This collaboration with Super73 is also part of the efforts to expand the lifestyle audio brand. In Korea, it demonstrates how Xboom integrates into customers' hobbies through the electric bikes known as "GD (G-Dragon) electric bike" and "Choo Sung Hoon Zatobike."
The "Super73 LG Xboom Edition" created through this collaboration is designed by installing the portable speaker "LG Xboom Grab" in front of the handlebars and attaching the compact speaker "LG Xboom Bounce" behind the seat on the representative product S2 of Super73. The Xboom speaker, which has passed seven durability tests compliant with U.S. military standards for rain, vibration, shock, salt spray, immersion, dust, and high temperatures, is suitable for outdoor environments. By utilizing the "Party Link" feature of the Xboom speaker, the front Grab and rear Bounce can be linked.
