Devsisters announced on the 24th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SOOP, a live streaming corporations, to promote esports for the Cookie Run intellectual property (IP).

Devsisters will work on building a casual esports ecosystem for Cookie Run and expanding globally this year. As part of this, it has confirmed the official title of last year's esports tournament held in the country for 'Cookie Run: OvenBreak' as 'World Championship 2025.' The game aims to showcase its appeal to users worldwide, combining the enjoyment of playing with the excitement of watching, based on real-time PvP (player versus player) battles.
Joo Gil-hyun, CEO of Devsisters, said, 'We plan to create a casual esports culture that anyone can easily participate in and enjoy together, based on a global esports lineup centered around Cookie Run.' He added, 'I expect that our cooperation with SOOP, which has excellent esports operational capabilities, will play a crucial role in expanding Cookie Run's IP experience as well as driving the success of our new title in the second half of the year.'
