Naver Cloud announced on the 24th that its artificial intelligence (AI) voice recognition service, "Clova Speech," has become the first in the industry among domestic speech-to-text (STT) products to pass the Financial Security Agency's "Innovative Financial Service CSP (Cloud Service Provider) assessment."
According to the company, the Financial Security Agency's Innovative Financial Service CSP safety assessment is a security compliance standard required when introducing cloud-based AI services in the financial industry. Due to the nature of the financial sector, which handles sensitive customer information, a high level of validation regarding security and safety is demanded.
By passing this evaluation, "Clova Speech" has laid the groundwork for the expansion of AI services within the financial sector. It can be applied to various tasks such as recording and managing call center consultation content, monitoring financial fraud, and automatically generating subtitles for financial training content. Additionally, it is expected to see expanded use cases in both private and public sectors, including automating meeting minutes and recording public agency complaint consultations.
As a result of passing this Innovative Financial Service CSP assessment, Korea Investment & Securities has introduced Clova Speech in a cloud environment for the first time in the financial sector, and it is currently being utilized in tasks such as checking sales at branches.
