Okestro announced on the 24th that it has won the project for the 'Gyeonggi-do Cloud Computing System Construction.'
Gyeonggi Province is currently undertaking a project to respond to the AI era and promote innovation in public administration based on digital infrastructure by converting aging infrastructure into a cloud environment and implementing a private cloud infrastructure that has security and flexibility. The goal of this project is to transition 59 outdated information systems to the cloud by 2025 and expand it throughout Gyeonggi Province by 2027.
The overall system construction is being carried out by the NDS consortium, and Okestro will provide a full-stack cloud solution that includes the server virtualization solution 'Contrabass.' According to the company, Contrabass is a server virtualization solution that integrates GPU virtualization, high-performance distributed computing, resource scalability, scheduling, and monitoring functions, which can help reduce the burden of managing complex infrastructure.
In addition to Contrabass, Okestro plans to supply ▲ a cloud-native management platform 'Viola' ▲ a multi-cloud integration management solution 'Okestro CMP,' automatic migration tools ▲ 'Contrabass Legato' to support cloud infrastructure construction and data transfer.
Kim Beom-jae, the CEO of Okestro, said, 'This award is a result that once again proves the technology and market trust that Okestro has accumulated.' He added, 'We will continue to realize digital transformation and administrative innovation based on artificial intelligence (AI) with our technological leadership.'
