Kakao Entertainment and the Kakao Creation Foundation announced on the 24th that they will hold the second lecture in the music field, '11th Grow Up Talk & Talk,' on the 25th at Dream Plus in Gangnam, Seoul.
'Grow Up Talk & Talk' is a free offline professional lecture aimed at aspiring creators and everyone interested in the cultural content industry. This event will be held in cooperation with the Korea Music Copyright Association, with approximately 100 participants.
The '11th Grow Up Talk & Talk' will feature Yoon-kyung Cho, a member of the Music Copyright Association (음저협) and representative 'star lyricist' of K-pop, as well as Min Yeon-jae and 'hit song maker' producer Kiggen.
Yoon-kyung Cho, a representative lyricist of K-pop, has written lyrics for many hit songs, including SHINee's 'Sherlock,' Girls' Generation's 'Party,' Red Velvet's 'Russian Roulette,' 'Rookie,' EXO's 'Call Me Baby,' 'Love Shot,' NCT DREAM's 'Chewing Gum,' and RIIZE's 'Love 119.' Recently, she has also been actively working with various artists outside of SM Entertainment, such as The Boyz, Kwon Eun-bi, and Kiss of Life.
Lyricist Min Yeon-jae has written poignant ballads, including the duet 'Some' by Soyou and Jung Ki-goo, 'The Reason I Became a Singer' by Shin Yong-jae, 'Autumn Is Here' by Vibe, and 'In Love' by Ben. She has also participated in songs by idol groups like SHINee and EXO and has been active as a leading lyricist in K-pop since her debut in 2008.
Kiggen, a veteran producer formerly of the hip-hop group Phantom, has collaborated widely with popular idols like SEVENTEEN, ASTK, and Wanna One, as well as talented artists such as Verbal Jint and Kim Jin-pyo. Based on his experience across various genres like hip-hop, indie, and R&B, he plans to offer practical advice and inspiration for creation to aspiring creators.
