Kakao Entertainment announced on the 24th that it has unveiled the lineup for the August 'New Release Project' of Kakao Page.
The lineup includes writer Jo Jin-haeng's new work 'Sipdo Jongsa,' the follow-up to the martial arts novel 'Gucheon Gukeom,' which recorded the highest cumulative view count on Kakao Page, and 'Neohui-ga Akyeog-in Sesang,' a new work by writer Kwon Gye-eul that was a hit with 'The Ending of the Villain is Only Death.' The 'New Release Project' is a regular feature of Kakao Page that selects and introduces highly anticipated new works every month and holds pre-release and launch events.
Jo Jin-haeng's 'Sipdo Jongsa' is a new martial arts fantasy about a protagonist who grew up as a lowly gangster and becomes an absolute master through a fortuitous encounter in the celestial realm. Set to be released on the 30th, this work features a deep world and a densely woven narrative. Kwon Gye-eul's 'Neohui-ga Akyeog-in Sesang' is a romantic fantasy where the protagonist embodies an extra villain resembling himself and changes his destiny while entangled with key characters in the original work, scheduled for official launch on August 1.
Kakao Page is celebrating the launch of the two works by providing up to 1,000 won worth of cash lottery tickets to those who sign up for launch notifications for 'Sipdo Jongsa' by the 29th and for 'Neohui-ga Akyeog-in Sesang' by the 31st, along with hosting an open run event offering up to 3,000 won worth of cash lottery tickets until the 1st of next month.
