On the 22nd, global artificial intelligence (AI) search startup Liner announced that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with BC Card, and that it is enhancing cooperation by introducing a new service combining AI technology and payment data.
This agreement aims for practical cooperation focused on developing AI-based joint services and planning customer-tailored services using data analysis. As the first collaborative effort, the two companies launched the 'most accurate restaurant AI search' feature on the Liner mobile app. This feature analyzes payment data from BC Card, looking at factors like congestion levels by time of day, suitability for gatherings, and real-time information within the commercial area to recommend personalized locations for users.
The two companies plan to promote various joint projects that can practically apply AI technology in daily life through interdisciplinary convergence.
Kim Jin-woo, CEO of Liner, noted, 'The restaurant search feature launched in collaboration with BC Card is an example of how technology convergence can provide contextually appropriate information for users,' and he added, 'We plan to expand cooperation with domestic corporations so that AI becomes 'everyone's AI,' accessible to all.'
Choi Won-seok, president of BC Card, stated, 'This agreement combines Liner's AI search technology with BC Card's expertise to create new AI services,' and he mentioned, 'We will continue to introduce innovative AI service models in the future.'
