KT announced on the 21st that it has signed a contract with the Supreme Court for the establishment of an artificial intelligence (AI) platform and model development project worth 14.5 billion won to support court operations.
The project aims to enhance efficiency and accuracy by digitally transforming the Supreme Court's court operations. The scale is 14.5 billion won.
The 'KT Consortium,' centered around KT and including LBOX, Konan Technology, and MT Data, will jointly carry out the project over the next four years.
According to KT, the consortium has recognized its custom AI capabilities for legal services, including ▲ a lineup of customized multi-large language models (LLM) based on the KT AI model 'Mit:um 2.0,' ▲ LBOX's operational know-how and specialized services for commercial legal technology AI, and ▲ Konan Technology's data searching and labeling technologies.
KT will design and build an AI platform to support the Supreme Court's court operations, which includes a legal specialized AI model for court operations support, an AI search service based on judgments and laws, automatic extraction and summarization of trial issues, and assistance in writing judgments.
Starting with this Supreme Court project, KT plans to expand its B2G and B2B AX business based on 'Mit:um 2.0.'
