According to Samsung Electronics on the 2nd, the proportion of installations of system air conditioners in homes where people actually live, rather than homes that are empty due to moving or remodeling, increased from 24% in the first half of 2023 to 48% in 2024 and 55% this year.
Samsung Electronics explained that the increased installation rate in occupied homes is influenced by their 'one-day installation service,' which allows for same-day installation of system air conditioners.
Samsung Electronics has introduced a service that allows for quick and easy installation of system air conditioners in residences within 8 hours. Additionally, to enhance installation convenience, they have introduced an 'interior fit kit' that enables easy installation of system air conditioners in constructed apartments or dwellings without ceiling down work.
Based on installation convenience and technological capability, product sales have also increased. According to Samsung Store, the sales of Samsung's home air conditioning systems from January to June this year have increased by more than 40% compared to the same period last year.
