The Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA) announced on the 2nd that it has signed a business agreement with the Artificial Intelligence Industry Association (KAIIA) on the 30th at the headquarters of Persona AI in Gangnam, Seoul.
KOSA, which represents the artificial intelligence (AI) and software (SW) industry in Korea, serves as a focal point for various related organizations, representing the voices of the industry and leading the development of the ecosystem. KAIIA is an organization that leads the research and development of the AI industry domestically and internationally, contributing to the safe and reliable development of the AI industry through research and development of data analysis and generative technologies. This agreement is expected to create even stronger synergy by combining the expertise of both associations.
The signing ceremony was attended by KOSA's Executive Vice President Seong-il Seo, KAIIA President In-seok Kim, and Vice President Seung-jae Yoo, among other key officials from both organizations. Through this business agreement, both associations have decided to strengthen research and development and business cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and mutually collaborate for the development of the domestic AI industry ecosystem.
Through the agreement, they will jointly conduct research and policy development activities for the advancement of the artificial intelligence industry, enhance exchanges among member companies of both associations, and strengthen business cooperation through joint project discovery and support for overseas expansion. They will also jointly develop various cooperation projects for the promotion and development of the AI industry and actively pursue joint collaborative projects for nurturing AI talent.
Seong-il Seo, Executive Vice President of KOSA, said, "Through this agreement, the networks and expertise of both associations will combine to significantly expand the scope of the domestic AI industry," and noted, "We will expand collaboration opportunities by utilizing each other's strengths and lay the groundwork for the entire domestic AI ecosystem to advance to the next level through the expansion of collaborative networks."
