PIOLINK announced on the 1st that it has been selected as a provider of security products and cloud-based security services (SECaaS) for the '2025 ICT small and medium-sized enterprise information security support project' and is recruiting demand corporations.
This project supports the introduction of information security consulting, security products, and SECaaS for small and medium-sized corporations with weak information security capabilities. Selected corporations as demand corporations can receive up to 80% of the expenses covered by the government to adopt the products and services of the provider.
Through this project, PIOLINK will provide the web firewall (WebFront-K1800) in the security product sector and 'PIOLINK Cloud SECaaS V1' in the SECaaS sector.
WebFront-K is a web firewall provided in the form of an appliance. It is a security solution that protects web applications and ensures the safety of web services necessary for business operations. It protects websites and data from web hacking attacks.
PIOLINK Cloud SECaaS V1 is a subscription-based web firewall service that includes security monitoring. With a systematic security monitoring service available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for stable operation of the cloud web firewall, it provides web firewalls and operational services for small and medium-sized corporations that lack or have insufficient security personnel.
Lee Seung-hyun, head of the PIOLINK Cloud Business Division, said, "In a situation where even large corporations find it difficult to completely prevent hacking, small and medium-sized corporations, which relatively lack investment in security infrastructure or dedicated security personnel, are bound to be more vulnerable. A web firewall is essential for safe web business, and we hope interested corporations will apply as demand corporations to receive products and services at reasonable prices."
