KT Cloud announced on the 1st that it has passed the 'A grade' security verification by the National Intelligence Service.
KT Cloud has been preparing for the National Intelligence Service security verification based on its experience with domestic A grade security demonstrations and preliminary public cloud projects. With this verification pass, it can now provide cloud services for digital administrative services involving sensitive information and high system importance.
The National Intelligence Service security verification classifies system importance into high, medium, and low categories according to the 'National Cloud Computing Security Guidelines,' requiring different security requirements for each grade. By passing the A grade verification, KT Cloud has laid the foundation to provide cloud services that are safer and more reliable.
KT Cloud is participating in the 'Public-Private Partnership (PPP)' project conducted at the Daegu Center of the National Information Resources Management Institute, and is carrying out the cloud-native transformation projects for the Emergency Reporting Management Center of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Seoul Fire and Disaster Headquarters. In particular, it is focusing on building cloud-native infrastructure for the Emergency Reporting Integrated System of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Fire Safety Map System of Seoul. These systems play a crucial role in supporting information sharing and joint responses among fire, coast guard, and police services.
KT Cloud is providing optimized cloud services to public and private customers with a multi-cloud strategy. It is developing a cloud-native platform based on OpenStack and Kubernetes technologies, through which it offers customized services for its clients.
