AI and cloud leading corporation MegazoneCloud has successfully established the integrated monitoring service platform 'CRK Square' for the domestic number one frozen and refrigerated specialty corporation CRK.
'CRK Square' is a monitoring platform based on IoT sensors of frozen and refrigerated equipment supplied by CRK to retail stores and cold storage facilities. Each frozen and refrigerated device is equipped with dozens of sensors that collect millions of data points each month, and a scalable architecture has been implemented to process this data. Through this, CRK has enabled real-time collection of data from frozen and refrigerated facilities in each region to the cloud and remote control.
MegazoneCloud oversaw the establishment of the CRK Square platform over approximately one and a half years. During this process, various tasks were performed, including system architecture design, IoT device integration development, on-premises databases linkage, and AWS cloud infrastructure establishment. The core design goal was the precise management of frozen and refrigerated equipment and 24/7 uninterrupted service.
MegazoneCloud applied provisioning technology using a mobile app during the on-site installation phase to minimize installation time and errors. Additionally, through the FOTA function that allows devices' firmware to be automatically updated remotely, it enabled functionality improvements and security patches without the need for engineers to visit the site.
'CRK Square' provides a variety of services such as real-time data collection, event processing, and user authentication stably, with data stored in a distributed manner and all functions designed in a scalable modular structure optimized for global expansion. It has recently been validated for overseas service stabilization capabilities by being applied to frozen and refrigerated equipment installed in stores in Mongolia. In major domestic retail stores, dozens of devices are already in operation, with additional registrations planned.
