The big data analytics artificial intelligence (AI) corporation S2W announced on the 26th that it held its annual technology conference 'SIS 2025: MOVEMENT' at the Chosun Palace Seoul Gangnam, introducing the latest technology trends.
This year marks the fourth edition of the event, which was held under the theme 'AI and the data society.' About 600 participants attended the event.
Shin Seung-won, a professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), delivered a keynote speech on 'From Chaos to Insight: How AI Finds Meaning in Data.' He explained the role AI can play throughout the entire process, from data collection to analysis and insight generation.
In the following Track 1, Kim Gun-woo, Head of Team at INNOCEAN, introduced strategies and case studies for the corporate artificial intelligence transformation (AX) quickening strategy, while Lee Jae-yeon, Head of Team at Hanwha Systems, presented on 'SecurAider: A New Definition of Cybersecurity for the Digital Ocean Era.' Oh Gyeong-mi, head of the institutional sector at Lotte Members, unveiled the construction of Lotte Members' 'Segment Lab,' and Baek Seung-guk, CEO of Intellisia, gave a presentation titled 'The Future of Market Research Changed by Synthetic Consumers.'
In Track 2, which was held simultaneously, Lee Seung-hyun, Head of Team at S2W KE, introduced 'The Hidden Costs of AI Adoption? Turning Crisis into Opportunity,' while Lee Seul-ki, a researcher at the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), presented cases of 'Virtual Asset Theft by National Backing Attack Organizations Enhanced by AI.' Hwang Jae-sung, manager of the adot agent planning team at SK Telecom, shared insights on 'Trends in AI Agent Orchestration Technology,' and Choi Jae-seok, a professor at Ewha Womans University, led a session on 'Reflections on Creating Authentic AI.'
Seo Sang-deok, CEO of S2W, noted, 'We will proactively create opportunities for meaningful knowledge sharing that can promote the growth of the entire AI ecosystem encompassing security and industry in the future.'
