EVSIS, the electric vehicle charging subsidiary of LOTTE Innovate, announced on the 26th that it has secured the '2025 project for the production and installation of public fast chargers for electric vehicles.'
This project, overseen by the Ministry of Environment and organized by the Environmental Corporation, aims to expand charging infrastructure by supplying public fast chargers nationwide. The project will be conducted in three regions.
EVSIS has been selected for the first region, including Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon, and plans to supply and install 100 kW and 200 kW fast chargers in a total of 430 parking spaces. EVSIS noted that the fast chargers will be equipped with its own developed power line communication modem and domestically produced power modules, and that dedicated maintenance personnel will manage the chargers.
Oh Young-sik, the CEO of EVSIS, said, "We will lead the establishment of eco-friendly infrastructure as a partner that practices energy transition and social responsibility beyond simply supplying chargers."
