Kakao Map has updated its tourist-customized map service ahead of the summer vacation season.
According to the IT (Information and Communication Technology) industry on the 25th, Kakao has recently applied the indoor airport map service to 15 airports, including Jeju, Muan, Yangyang, Ulsan, Yeosu, Gimhae, Daegu, Cheongju, and Gwangju.
Starting with Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport this year, Kakao has been providing an indoor map service that offers the floor locations and operating hours of frequently used facilities such as restrooms and elevators, as well as commercial facilities like duty-free shops and restaurants.
A Kakao official noted, "With the service updated for airports nationwide ahead of the peak vacation season, it is expected to be useful for travelers planning their trips as they navigate busy airports."
