Samsung Electronics announced on the 19th that it will operate the 'AI Class with Galaxy' program for preschoolers and elementary, middle, and high school students.
This program is an experiential education program designed to help students learn about AI in an easy and fun way using the latest Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The goal is to generate interest in AI and provide students with useful AI experiences that can be applied in their daily lives.
The program is tailored for different age groups and is divided into three categories: 'AI Class with Galaxy @School', 'AI Class with Galaxy @Samsung Store', and 'AI Class with Galaxy @Digital City'. Details and applications for each program can be found on Samsung.com.
'AI Class with Galaxy' will offer a total of five subjects and 18 courses, including ▲Dreams and career paths discovered through AI ▲Creating social videos with AI ▲Decorating photo albums with AI ▲Art drawing made easier by AI ▲Self-management learned through AI. Samsung Electronics plans to run the program for approximately 100,000 students, including preschoolers and those in elementary, middle, and high schools this year.
'AI Class with Galaxy @School' will be conducted at 800 schools nationwide, providing a curriculum tailored to the interests of teenagers that fits regular classes or after-school activities. For example, in 'Click! A memory trip of our class through photos', students are encouraged to unleash their creativity by decorating photos taken with the Galaxy S25 series.
'AI Class with Galaxy @Samsung Store' will take place at 12 Samsung Stores in areas such as Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungnam. This program offers preschoolers and lower elementary school students an opportunity to engage with AI through playful experiences. The popular program 'Making My Dream T-shirt' allows participants to draw with the Galaxy Tab S10 series and produce T-shirts using AI.
Additionally, Samsung Electronics will conduct facility tours and Galaxy AI experience programs in Suwon Digital City for upper elementary school students. Students will have the opportunity to explore the development of the IT industry at the Samsung Innovation Museum and experience 'Home AI'.
Through this program, Samsung Electronics aims to help students recognize AI as a useful tool in daily life rather than as a difficult technology and plans to expand the program's target audience in the future.
