Adobe announced on 18th the launch of the mobile app for Firefly, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based content ideation, generation, and production platform, along with various feature expansions.
The Firefly mobile app is available on iOS and Android, allowing users to utilize various features such as generating images from text and videos from text in a mobile environment. The app integrates with Adobe Creative Cloud, providing workflow continuity with other Adobe apps like Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
Additionally, Firefly has expanded the generative AI ecosystem by integrating newly models from Ideogram, Luma AI, Pika, and Runway, along with existing models from OpenAI, Google, and Black Forest Labs. This offers creators options to experiment with various artistic styles and media formats.
The beta service of the 'Firefly Board' has also been launched in the Firefly web app. This feature, in the form of a mood board, focuses on enabling creative teams to share and collaborate on video and image ideas based on AI. Users can simultaneously generate ideas and edit using uploaded media and various AI models.
To ensure transparency in AI-generated content, Adobe automatically assigns Content Credentials and provides information on the AI models used.
Currently, the Firefly mobile app is available in English on the App Store and Google Play, while the web app and board features are offered in beta. These features can also be accessed through the Creative Cloud Pro plan.
