LG Innotek announced on the 17th that it has been selected as one of the 'Best Korea Brands 2025' organized by Interbrand.
LG Innotek first entered the 'Best Korea Brand' last year and has been selected as a top 50 brand for two consecutive years. This is interpreted as a successful expansion of its standing as a representative global innovative technology corporation in Korea through the establishment of a new vision aligned with its diversified business portfolio.
Interbrand is the world's largest brand consulting group, established in 1974. Since 2013, it has annually announced the 'Best Korea Brands', selecting the top 50 corporations with the highest brand value in Korea. This list includes Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, and Naver.
The 'Best Korea Brands' are selected after a comprehensive analysis of corporate financial factors, market dominance and influence, and growth potential to evaluate brand value. Interbrand's evaluation criteria are known as the most trusted global methodology in the branding and marketing industry, having obtained ISO certification for the first time in the industry.
According to Interbrand, the brand value of LG Innotek amounts to 407.5 billion won. It has been reported that LG Innotek received high scores across all areas, including finance, market influence, and growth potential in this assessment.
In terms of business, LG Innotek is leading in the optical solutions, substrate materials, and automotive components businesses, recording sales of 21.2 trillion won in 2024, setting a new record for the highest revenue.
Furthermore, LG Innotek is applying its first-rate capabilities accumulated in the optical solutions business to the AD/ADAS components and semiconductor components businesses, driving the establishment of a robust business portfolio.
In addition, it is accelerating preparations for the future by expanding core technologies such as optical design, precision manufacturing, and control into fields like humanoid robotics.
In particular, earlier this year, LG Innotek proclaimed a new vision and brand identity, which signifies its commitment to becoming an irreplaceable technological partner that supports customers' success, going beyond being an excellent component supplier.
