Kakao Entertainment's music platform Melon announced on the 17th that it successfully concluded the album preview listening zone for the group ILLIT's mini album 'bomb' at the 'Friend's Night POP-UP' event held at Mos in Seongdong District, Seoul, from the 13th to the 16th.
This pop-up was designed with various experiential content in line with the album concept, providing fans with a unique offline experience. During the event, the listening zone operated within the pop-up premiered highlights of the title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' as well as highlight audio clips of all the album tracks before its release.
Additionally, through the real-time music chatting service Melon Music Wave, various fan service contents such as exclusive voice tracks where the members personally introduce the album, short reviews, and selfie images were also provided, receiving enthusiastic responses from GLLIT (the fandom name).
Melon also conducted special events on-site. Visitors who completed a friendship with ILLIT as free members of Melon received Melon usage vouchers, while paid members were given unreleased limited edition postcards of ILLIT, leading to high participation. Furthermore, the 'Friend's Night POP-UP' featured diverse programs including a photo zone decorated in a magical girl concept and a DIY experience zone where attendees could make their own pouches using items symbolizing 'bomb.'
Melon Music Wave will hold a real-time chatting event with all members of ILLIT participating, starting on the 18th at 1:35 p.m. This chat is expected to be a meaningful time for fans who have been waiting for the comeback, as they will be able to talk directly with the artists about the new album.
