IGLOO Corporation announced on the 17th that it has obtained two patents for automating security monitoring using artificial intelligence (AI).
The patents focus on enhancing the functionality and accuracy of AI-based security monitoring processes, including automation of security threat reports using language models and security event assessment technology utilizing explainable AI (XAI) and uncertainty indices. This has laid the groundwork for leveling up the capabilities of security personnel and improving work efficiency.
Based on the patented technologies it has secured, IGLOO Corporation is accelerating the implementation of AI-based open extended detection and response (XDR) through its XDR-based security monitoring platform 'SPiDER ExD.' This platform aims to enhance the efficiency of overall security operations through various data collection, AI and machine learning-based automated detection, threat scoring, and playbook-based response functionalities.
Lee Deok-chun, representative of IGLOO Corporation, noted that the company holds the largest number of AI patents, over 30, among domestic security corporations and affirmed that it will continue to lead the security market based on technological competitiveness.
