Nexon announced on the 11th that it will hold the 'eK League Supporters Cup 2025' on July 14 in its game 'EA SPORTS FC™ Online (FC Online)', featuring K League professional soccer players and club supporters.
The tournament is co-hosted by Nexon and the Korea Professional Football League, with participation from nine K League clubs. Each team will consist of one professional player and two代表 supporters from their club.
Participant registration will take place from June 23 to 29 through the Korea Professional Football League and each club, and the qualifying rounds to determine the teams advancing to the finals will occur at club facilities or local PC rooms from July 5 to 6. The finals will take place online from July 14 to 15 with each club's 'team color' player roster, and all matches will be broadcast live on the FC Online SOOP channel and K League's YouTube.
The semifinals and finals will be held offline, with the schedule and location to be announced later. The total prize money is set at 15 million won, with the winning team receiving a prize of 4.5 million won and 300,000 Nexon Cash, while a donation of 3 million won will be made to the youth team of the winning club in the name of the supporters. The runner-up team will receive 3 million won and 1.5 million Nexon Cash, while the third-place team will receive 1.5 million won and 1.5 million Nexon Cash.
