HANMI Semiconductor announced on the 2nd that it will open a new office in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province.
HANMI Semiconductor explained that it strategically established regional offices to respond in real-time to customer technology requirements and provide customized services. The Icheon office is the second regional hub, following the office established in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, in April of last year.
Founded in 1980, HANMI Semiconductor is a global corporation with over 320 clients worldwide. It is the world's largest producer of thermal compression (TC) bonders for high-bandwidth memory (HBM), a key component of AI chips. Since establishing the Intellectual Property Department in 2002, it has filed over 120 patents related to HBM equipment.
