KT announced on the 1st that it has conducted the 'AI Practical Competency, Skill Up' program to educate digital talent scholarship recipients on practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
In this program, KT employees shared practical experiences centered on major KT projects, including examples of generative AI applied to Genie TV, AI-based network security, and the use of large language models (LLMs).
Additionally, an instructor from Microsoft participated to conduct an advanced lecture on the strategies for utilizing the generative AI tool Copilot within corporations and its scalability.
KT plans to continuously provide practical training and various experiential opportunities to ensure that scholarship recipients can effectively apply technology in the industry.
Oh Tae-sung, head of KT's ESG Management Promotion Office, said, "We created the program to help students understand practical applications of AI technology and to enable them to concretely envision future job roles."
