LG Uplus has introduced an exclusive communication platform for employees called 'TRIGO' and is working to foster a horizontal organizational culture. Launched as an idea by CEO Hong Beom-sik, this platform is being utilized across management and aims to facilitate free opinion exchange and strengthen internal feedback among members.
According to industry sources on the 1st, LG Uplus started operating 'TRIGO' two weeks ago. It is an internal social networking service format for employees only, similar to Facebook for Harvard University students, and is said to have been directly proposed by CEO Hong.
'TRIGO' is a combination of 'Trigger' and 'Go', stemming from an idea proposed during the 100-day town hall meeting held in March. CEO Hong noted at the time that "creating triggers that draw out the potential of members is the role of the CEO."
CEO Hong has reportedly been engaging with members by posting or commenting once a day. The company explained that he continues to communicate in real-time by responding to AI-related technology summaries or customer delight cases shared by members.
