SHIFT UP announced on the 30th that it will release a free PC demo version of the action-adventure game 'Stella Blade' on the global platform Steam on May 31.
This demo consists of about one hour of early content, allowing players to experience cutscenes and the combat and growth system of the protagonist Eve in advance. Notably, it includes the battle with the boss 'Abaddon' and various costumes, generating excitement among gamers. The demo trailer will be released on the same day through the official PlayStation channel.
Previously, the console version demo recorded a maximum of 690,000 users per day, gaining immense popularity, and even with a short playtime, long-playing users emerged, proving the game's quality.
'Stella Blade' is the first AAA game developed as a second-party title by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) from a Korean game company, and it recorded first place in pre-orders in over 60 countries after its exclusive release on PlayStation 5 in April 2024.
The PC version, scheduled to be released on June 12, is currently ranking second in global sales on Steam (first in paid games) solely through pre-order sales. It is available in two forms: Standard Edition and Complete Edition. The Complete Edition includes collaborative DLC and limited-time costume exchange codes.
