Kakao Entertainment announced on the 30th that it will begin airing the animation "Acorn Cultural Center" on EBS 1TV starting next month, on the 1st.
This animation is based on the webtoon "Acorn Cultural Center," adding new scenes and three-dimensional direction to the original's delightful and warm emotions, garnering expectations from fans. The original work is the first full-length story by the author Nanda, known for "Acoustic Life," humorously depicting the story of an office worker who infiltrated a cultural center with an average age of 70, recording a total of 10 million views.
Additionally, the animation's OST was released on Melon on the 19th. The included songs are "You Are My Love (Music Box)" sung by actor Lee Jang-woo and "Your Chilly Presence," and the original author Nanda participated in the lyrics for "Your Chilly Presence," drawing attention.
The animation production was jointly participated in by EBS and domestic production company 5Brix, with support from the Gwangju Cultural Industry Promotion Center and the Korea Creative Content Agency, while the OST was produced in collaboration with the Gyeonggi Content Agency and Daegrew Entertainment. Kakao is continuing its support for the third year to strengthen the competitiveness of domestic small content companies utilizing its webtoon IP.
Author Nanda said, "I was really impressed by the lively and three-dimensionally brought-to-life movements of the characters compared to the original," and noted, "I hope this becomes a work that various age groups can enjoy together during the morning time."
