On the 19th, ESTsoft, a corporation specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) services, announced that the length and capacity of dubbed videos supported by PERSO.ai's auto-dubbing service "AI Video Translator" have been significantly expanded.
With this update, users of PERSO.ai can now use the AI Video Translator to dub videos of various lengths, from ultra-short to full-length. The previous support range was between 20 seconds and 20 minutes, with a maximum video size of 1GB; this has now been increased to between 5 seconds and 30 minutes and doubled to a capacity of 2GB.
This reflects the demands of creators who specialize in content production. Due to the nature of creators generating videos in various genres, the length may inevitably vary based on the concept and content of the video as well as the characteristics of the video platform.
As a result, the AI Video Translator's application scope has greatly expanded, ranging from short-form content on rapidly growing platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube to long-form formats such as lectures, reviews, and vlogs. Especially with the increased supported capacity, video dubbing has become possible for high-quality documentaries.
Additionally, the user interface (UI) has been improved to be more intuitive, and Vietnamese has been newly added as a dubbing language. The addition of a dubbing language reflects the requests of creators hoping to enter the Southeast Asian market.
This update follows last month's implementation of multi-speaker auto-dubbing, and ESTsoft continues to pursue technological innovation with PERSO.ai. At that time, an independent AI model analyzing Korean pronunciation characteristics and lip movement patterns was applied.
Kim Saeng-geun, center director of PERSO SaaS, noted, "We have expanded the processing range to support various genres of content," adding, "In particular, we have now made it possible to process ultra-short videos of less than one minute, allowing dubbing for short-form content."
