AhnLab announced on the 16th that its vaccine solution V3 achieved a perfect score in the first 'Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) test' of the year conducted by the global security product evaluation organization 'AV-TEST.'
The ATP test, conducted every even month, evaluates the intelligent threat detection and response capabilities of security products using 10 cyber attack scenarios designed based on the MITRE ATT&CK framework. Each attack scenario is divided into a total of nine stages, from initial intrusion to final data breach, which assesses at which stage the security product blocks the threat.
AhnLab V3 participated in the ATP test in February 2025 for the 'home user' and 'business user' institutional sectors, achieving the highest score (a total of 35 points) in both sectors. The ability to block various threats, including ransomware and infostealers, at the initial attack stage contributed to its high evaluation.
Yang Ha-young, Deputy Minister of AhnLab Security Intelligence Center, noted, 'By achieving excellent results in the ATP test, which was designed to simulate real threat situations, AhnLab has once again proven its global-level threat response capabilities,' and added, 'We will continue to do our best to provide even more reliable security solutions.'
