KRAFTON announced on the 14th that it will simultaneously launch the new mobile game "Abyss of Dungeon," developed by Bluehole Studio, in four countries including Indonesia, Thailand, Brazil, and Mexico on June 11.
The game name "Abyss of Dungeon" signifies the depths of a dungeon, symbolizing the core gameplay of exploring dark and deep dungeons and challenging for survival. KRAFTON plans to sequentially apply the new game name and logo.
The game, which was soft-launched in the United States and Canada in February, has received positive feedback as the company explained that it added various content such as battle arenas, boss raids, soul stone systems, and character growth elements by reflecting user opinions.
KRAFTON decided to soft-launch in these four countries to enhance the game's quality and service level based on communication with users.
KRAFTON explained, "Abyss of Dungeon, an extraction RPG centered on escape, is characterized by combining survival elements of battle royale with exploration elements of dungeon crawlers," adding, "Additionally, we optimized the game by applying control methods suitable for mobile platforms and considering user convenience."
Ahn Jun-seok, the lead developer, said, "I expect that through the name 'Abyss of Dungeon,' we can effectively convey the game's identity and atmosphere," and added, "We will continue to strive to reflect user opinions in the game."
