LG Uplus announced on the 12th that it has launched 'Premium Transfer Subscription 2', an enhanced version of its content transfer pricing plan 'Premium Transfer Subscription'.
'Transfer Subscription' is a content transfer subscription pricing plan launched by LG Uplus in 2023, allowing users to watch desired broadcasting content from three terrestrial broadcasters and four comprehensive programming channels for a single VOD monthly fee.
The newly launched 'Transfer Subscription 2' offers popular dramas and entertainment from a total of eight broadcasters, including KBS, SBS, MBC, JTBC, TV Chosun, Channel A, MBN, and CJ, all under one pricing plan.
Users can change between eight monthly subscription products daily based on the content they wish to watch.
The monthly fee for 'Transfer Subscription 2' is 27,500 won based on an internet bundle with a three-year contract. Considering that using content from all eight broadcasters separately would require about 62,700 won, LG Uplus explained that it is reasonable.
Customers using LG Uplus's internet TV (IPTV) service 'U+tv Premium' ($15) can choose to use Transfer Subscription 2 for an additional 11,000 won.
