On the 7th, ESTsoft announced that it has newly applied an artificial intelligence (AI)-based face mosaic function to its image editing tools, ALSee and ALCapture.
The newly introduced "AI Blur Face" function automatically detects faces in images using AI, allowing for easy mosaic processing with just one click. ALTools users can select the function from the "AI Tools" menu after opening an image file and press the "Auto Blur" button to apply mosaic processing to all faces in the image.
This feature can quickly and accurately process images with multiple individuals, and users can select a "blur" effect in addition to the mosaic, enhancing workflow efficiency. The automatically detected areas can be freely modified, and users can manually specify areas other than faces for processing.
ESTsoft expects this feature to be practically utilized in fields where the protection of portrait rights is crucial, such as by blog operators, marketing personnel, and content creators. It is particularly noted that it can adequately respond to the demand for personal information protection in environments where image-based content is routinely created and shared.
The AI face mosaic function is the third artificial intelligence editing feature applied to ALTools, following AI background removal and AI quality enhancement. The company plans to expand AI features into various product lines, including PDF document processing and AI agents, strengthening its position as an "AI-based productivity tool."
An ESTsoft representative said, "The addition of the AI face mosaic function shows that ALTools is evolving into an 'AI productivity tool' as it actively incorporates AI technology," and noted, "We will continue to expand automated practical AI features that anyone can easily use."
