The mobility platform SOCAR announced on the 2nd that it will conduct the 'Parking Lot Value-Up Application Early Bird Event' for its online parking platform service, All Parking.
The parking lot value-up service is a parking lot monetization consulting business launched by All Parking in April 2023. Based on over 10 years of know-how in parking lot operation and management, it proposes optimized parking lot operation methods according to circumstances and supports parking ticket sales by registering as affiliated parking lots in the All Parking app, which has secured 5 million members.
Users can receive free consultation on optimized operation methods depending on location, operational form, and parking equipment installation. In the past two years, the average monthly applications for the service have reached 400. Currently, 4,600 affiliated parking lots, from large building parking lots such as Lotte Department Store and Mesena Polis to small parking lots with fewer than 5 spaces, are generating up to 3 million won in revenue per space annually.
SOCAR will conduct the 'Parking Lot Value-Up Application Early Bird Event' until July to encourage maximization of parking lot revenue amid a prolonged economic downturn. During the event period, those who complete the registration and operation of parking lots in All Parking will receive a department store gift certificate worth up to 100,000 won. The early bird period is divided into three phases in May, June, and July.
Anyone who operates an affiliated parking lot in All Parking for at least one month will receive prizes based on the time of registration and the duration of the affiliate relationship. The sooner the parking lot is registered and the longer the affiliation is maintained, the more gift certificates can be earned. New registrations of parking lots belonging to dwellings, villas, commercial buildings, and vacant lots with three or more spaces in All Parking are eligible for participation. More details can be checked on the All Parking app.
Kim Shin-myung, the head of the SOCAR base headquarters, noted that '33% of applications for the parking lot value-up service come from the metropolitan area, and 67% from non-metropolitan areas, indicating that the demand to maximize parking lot revenue is not limited to specific regions, but is evenly distributed across all areas.' He added, 'We will assist parking lot owners and managers in maximizing parking lot revenue through optimized operation methods in this prolonged economic downturn.'
