Devsisters Co., Ltd. has announced on the 28th that its trading card game "Cookie Run: Brave's Card Game" (hereafter referred to as the Cookie Run Card Game) has unveiled the roadmap for the global official tournament "Cookie Run: Brave's Card Game World Championship" (hereafter referred to as the World Championship), which will be held for the first time in 2026.
The World Championship is the largest global TCG tournament for the Cookie Run Card Game, where the top players from each participating region will gather to compete for the title of the ultimate world champion. Players from a total of 10 regions will participate, including existing release areas such as Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, as well as the United States and Canada, which are scheduled to launch in July 2025.
This World Championship will be held in April 2026 in Korea, where representatives from each region will compete for the first World Champion title. A total of 16 players will qualify for the finals through regional champion cups and selection competitions held in each area. The number of participants per region will be 4 from Korea, 3 from Taiwan, 2 from Thailand, and 1 each from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, with 2 from North America.
The Brave League season is expected to begin simultaneously with the launch in the United States and Canada this July. In North America, seasons will be operated approximately every three months, with players earning points through weekly tournaments, culminating in the Champion Cup in December, which will determine the regional champion.
Yang Hye-seong, Head of Team for the Cookie Run Card Game's business strategy, noted that "the Cookie Run Card Game features a gameplay style that is easy for anyone to learn while pursuing the strategic authenticity of TCGs" and stated, "We plan to operate competitions with a systematic competitive structure that can nurture professional TCG players and various events that casual players can also enjoy."
