DB HiTek announced on the 28th that its consolidated operating profit for the first quarter of this year reached 52.5 billion won, a 27.8% increase compared to the same period last year. Revenue was 297.4 billion won, up 13.7% from the previous year.
DB HiTek explained that the demand for power semiconductors surged, improving performance due to advance orders in anticipation of U.S. tariffs, the localization of mass production in China, and domestic market activation. Sales in the automotive and medical device sectors increased.
A DB HiTek official noted, "The operating rate in the first quarter rose to the 90% range, and this trend is expected to continue into the second quarter," adding, "While continuing to differentiate and enhance technology focused on core products like power semiconductors, we will also ensure that preparations for new businesses progress smoothly, thereby continuously strengthening our competitive edge."
