Uber Taxi operates a "reservation service" that helps passengers travel comfortably at their desired times. It is the only domestic taxi-hailing platform that allows reservations for standard medium taxis, and vehicles can be booked for the desired time up to 90 days in advance.
This benefit applies when the destination is Incheon International Airport or Gimpo International Airport. Passengers can easily make a reservation by selecting "reservation" in the Uber app and entering their pick-up location, destination, and time, with vehicles provided only under the "Uber Taxi" option of the Uber taxi franchise service. The benefit is expected to be continuously applicable.
The benefit, introduced ahead of the golden holiday and summer vacation season, is expected to enhance passenger convenience while also contributing to the expansion of revenue for Uber Taxi franchise drivers.
An Uber Taxi representative noted, "We prepared benefits so that passengers traveling to the airport for trips or business can move more comfortably and without burden as we approach the golden holiday and family month," and added, "We will continue to expand differentiated airport transfer options tailored to various situations along with the recently introduced standard taxi XL service."
