AhnLab Blockchain Company announced on the 23rd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with participating organizations of the 'NextGen Convergence Fellowship' at its headquarters in Pangyo to cultivate the next generation of digital technology talents.
The 'NextGen Convergence Fellowship' is part of the '2025 Youth Employment ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Support Project' led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, aimed at providing youths with job training and practical participation opportunities in the digital new industry. AhnLab Blockchain Company will co-manage the program with four participating organizations, including Mamiranser, Akiaka, the High Seoul Business Association, and Kongju National University.
Through this agreement, the participating organizations have agreed to collaborate throughout the entire program process, including job training, practical project operations, job placement, resource sharing, and research cooperation. Starting from May 7th, they plan to provide practical job experiences to over 300 youths in three tracks: blockchain and security, edtech, and digital heritage (the technology that uses information and communication technology to preserve, manage, and exhibit cultural heritage in digital form).
AhnLab Blockchain Company plans to take charge of the blockchain and security track, providing various job experience curriculums focused on business planning, marketing, and operations based on blockchain to about 100 youths. Particularly, it will ensure that anyone can participate regardless of their major, supporting the enhancement of practical job competitiveness.
Lim Joo-young, the business general leader of AhnLab Blockchain Company, noted, 'Based on this agreement, we plan to actively support youths in building job capabilities applicable in actual digital industry settings,' and added, 'We will lead efforts to establish and expand a sustainable youth job experience ecosystem through close cooperation among participating institutions.'
